Thank-you so much to everyone who supported this April 25 #INAD2018 Thunderclap silent social media event. The message went out to over 50,000 people around the world. Can I now say people do care about noise? I hope so!
and protecting quiet places worldwide.
If you wish quiet places and quiet natural habitats were protected.
If you wish there was less piped in music or muzak in stores and restaurants.
If you wish there were less horns and back-up alarms.
If you wish there was less noise from traffic, airplanes, trains and transit.
Sign up before 10:00 EDT April 25th to support this important global right to quiet message planned for International Noise Awareness Day 2018.
On #INAD2018, Wednesday April 25th at 10:00 a.m EDT, this message will go out once to every supporter’s social media followers:
I signed up using my twitter and Facebook accounts. So on April 25th, at 10:00 a.m. EDT, the message will post once to my 2,455 twitter followers and 1,132 of my Facebook Page followers around the world.
I would never do that unless it was for something this important.
The target is to have 100 supporters. So the message reaches as many people as possible on social media.
There are currently 48 supporters on Earth who back the message that all people have the right to quiet. Will 52 more people sign up in time? Will even more? https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/69171-intl-noise-awareness-day-2018
